Join Our Surveying Team as a Licensed Land Surveyor!
RRM Design Group is currently seeking a dedicated and talented individual to join us as a full-time Licensed Land Surveyor on our Surveying team. Our growing firm is looking for someone eager to be part of a collaborative, inclusive, and innovative team that offers a great balance of professional fulfillment and fun.
RRM Design Group has been providing land surveying services to the public and private sectors throughout California for over 25 years. Our talented staff are well-suited to provide construction staking, topographic mapping, tentative and final maps, control surveying, boundary surveys, as well as hydrographic and high-definition laser scanning. We have a broad range of experience, from small residential lots to complex large-scale developments.

Your role looks like:
- Perform calculations for construction projects (e.g., rough grade, sewer, water, curb, and building stakes)
- Coordinate and collaborate with other disciplines and clients on various projects
- Provide mentoring to the office and field crew members.
- Prepare maps using Civil3D
- Other duties typical of a Licensed Land Surveyor
- Working in a team environment
What you’ll bring to the table:
- A minimum of six (6) years of work experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Surveying or related field experience
- Strong communication skills
- Enjoy working in a collaborative environment
- California Professional Land Surveyor’s license
- Familiarity with state and county mapping requirements
- Strong computer skills with CAD and Land Surveying software, such as Civil 3D, Trimble Business Center as well as the Microsoft Office Suite

COMPENSATION:
The hiring range for this role is targeted at $93,600 - $113,880 per year depending on skills and experience.
